Dr Chong sub-specializes in Neuroradiology, Spine, Head & Neck Imaging; Neuro-oncology and Cancer Imaging; Pediatric Neuroradiology, and Breast Imaging.

After graduating from medical school at the National University of Singapore, Dr Chong spent many years practicing and training in the United States at the Mount Sinai Medical Centre in New York (NY), MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston (Texas) and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (PA).  Her advanced qualifications include the American Board of Radiology (ABR) Certification in Diagnostic Radiology, and the ABR Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology (CAQ).

Upon her return to Singapore, Dr Chong was Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore, and Consultant at the National University Hospital, holding the position of Head of Neuroradiology and Head & Neck Imaging Section.  At the same time, she taught as a Clinical Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, and was concurrently a Visiting Consultant to the National Neuroscience Institute.

In her current position, Dr Chong continues her close association with the NUH and the NNI as Visiting Consultant to both institutions
